Space Needle, July, 2003!
All photos taken by me.
(Just thought I 'd throw that in) : )
In Summer, 2003, my uncle John Martin and Jo Anne Mittman came to Seattle to visit family.
We took them to the Pike Place Market and the Seattle Center. A few days later, they
took us out for a wonderful dinner and double birthday celebration at the Space Needle.
We had a great time and saw some great views of Seattle.
My brother Jon, Jo Anne, Ryan and Uncle John walking toward the Pike Place Market.
Laura is out of view behind Jon.
The Space Needle, as seen from the foot of the ferris wheel in the "Fun Forest".
Ryan, with Laura behind, on the merry-go-round at Seattle Center's Fun Forest.
Jon took Ryan on one of the kiddie rides.
Ryan riding a bouncy frog ride.
Ryan is taking his first solo drive. He had a great time on this. After the ride
he was bragging how he "got to drive all by myself."
John and Jo Anne during a pit stop for sodas and coffee.
Of all the rides Ryan has been on, I think his favorite of all his sitting on my foot
and having me walk around, as seen here.

the back (right) looking at the view.
Downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay from Seattle. Harbor Island on the upper right.
The birthday kids, Jo Anne and my brother Jon, blowing out candles. Ryan is helping, too.
In the background is Lake Union.
Myself (Dave. duh), John, Jo Anne, Jon, Laura and Ryan. In the background is Lake
Union.
Downtown Seattle at sunset, as seen from the Space Needle. Contrast this with the earlier
picture: the buildings appear much more red, no?
Ryan's having fun on this ornamental marble ball outside the Space Needle.
