I never tire of the view from Gary Farrell Winery, at the top of a very steep driveway.
A restaurant a few miles from the timeshare, in Forestville. I had a deeelicious
Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, which had very moist chicken and coleslaw on a bun.
We were sitting in the middle of their courtyard, directly underneath a tree. I took
this shot straight up in the air. The next few shots were holding the cellphone right
next to me, at the base of the tree in the planter.
When I got back to the table, I told Greg, here checking his email, that I wanted
a glass of water, not pectin. :-)

At C. Donatiello Winery, some of the gardens. A small section of pond with
lily pads, bamboo and dragon flies. Same spot as next 2 pics.

The scent of peaches permeated this section of the garden. Mmmmm....
All of the steps in the garden at C. Donatiello Winery double as planters.

First wine stop of the morning. Having spent so much money on wine
over the past two days, I was on watch to NOT overspend again. My
plans didn't last long. Every wine I tried at De la Montanya Winery
was really nice. Not only did I buy 4 bottles of wine from them (2 as
gifts), but I joined their wine club. Now, I have to buy 2 shipments
from them over the next year before I can cancel. But the wines are
soooo good, I think I'll be okay. A quiet, unassuming place, hidden a
half block off of West Side Road.
View of the picnic area and beyond at Armida winery.
A Stella Artois at Healdsburg Bar & Grill. The hamburger I had was REALLY
good, if not a tad undercooked. I think the cow was still kicking a bit.

The menu at Dry Creek General Store. I had the top item on the middle column.
Boy, was it tasty!
Yeah...just hanging out on the porch at the ol' general store.... yep...
Still at the general store.
This was the cola I had with lunch. Tasty, and no corn syrup!

Part of the grounds at Ferrari-Carrano Vineyards and Winery. Amazing
grounds and a wonderful Japanese garden.
Part of the grounds at Ferrari-Carrano Vineyards and Winery. The
fountains and columns are part of the view from the wine
tasting bar. Unfortunately, we couldn't get over to seem them
up close.

From inside this gazebo, you're not able to see any buildings. All you
see are trees, gardens and a trickling stream. Very peaceful...
